With effect from the 10th of June 2007 We, The Kingdoms of Elgaland-Vargaland, are annexing and occupying Isola di San Michele, the Island of the Dead, formerly a part of the city of Venice, Republic of Italy.
From this point on and forever We designate this island as a part of our physical territory, as a part of the Kingdoms of Elgaland-Vargaland.

The National Anthem No. 1 [Carl Michael von Hausswolff & Leif Elggren] will be broadcast on 174.1 FM throughout the KREV UK Embassy gardens in the approach to National Day on May 27th, and the closing of the Gasworks Gallery exhibition.
Time Out has published a full page interview with King Carl Michael 1 for the opening of the London exhibition ‘Slash Fiction’ at Gasworks.
Sunday 27 May
The Kingdoms of Elgaland-Vargaland will celebrate their 15th anniversary at Gasworks on the closing day of the show. The National Anthem will be broadcast on ResonanceFM from 11am-12pm. Carl Michael von Hausswolff and his UK Ambassador will give an audience to subjects and tourists at 3pm at Gasworks.
A new version of the National Anthem will be released on 7″ vinyl at this event… watch this space for further news
Wednesday 4 April, 6.30pm
During the preview, the annexing of Gasworks by The Kingdoms of Elgaland-Vargaland will be officially declared, with a ceremonial address by Carl Michael von Hausswolff, King of Vargaland.

On September 21 an official toast in sparkling wine celebrated the 10th anniversary of the KREV embassy for the Kaliningrad region in Russia. Present at this marvellous occasion was amongst others ambassador Vladimir Igoshin, citizens Yulia Bardun, citizens-to-be NCCA dirctor Elena Tsvetaeva, NCCA curator Dmintry Bulatov, composer Danil Akimov and composer M.O. von Stirlitz as well as founder Carl Michael von Hausswolff. The occasion also celebrated the new embassy office in the beautiful Kings Gate building in the center of Kaliningrad.
