A New Embassy in Sao Paulo, Brazil | 15-18th July 2008
Elgaland-Vargaland will inaugurate a new embassy in Sao Paulo, July 15-18 at Galeria Vermelho, Rua Minas Gerais 350 – info@galeriavermeklho.com – present will be founders, ministers and ambassadors … and the National Anthem will be performed by a samba band including drinks and food!

Elgaland-Vargaland will, on May 27th 2008, inaugurate the new embassy in Zurich, Switzerland, at CABARET VOLTAIRE, Spiegelgasse 1, CH-8001 Zürich
Elgaland-Vargaland will, on May 28th 2008, annex the Bodensee (Lake Constance) between Switzerland, Austria and Germany in order to give the nation’s mental territories, such as the hypnagoguic state, a necessary physicality. A vessel filled with various versions of the National Hymn, food and drinks will be available for all celebrants of the event. The event will be attended by founders, ministers and ambassadors from the Kingdoms.

In June 2007 the burial island of San Michele of the coast of Italy was declared a part of the Kingdoms of Elgaland-Vargaland. From the 16th of February through the 9th of March an exhibition celebrating this annexation is held at Gallery Niklas Belenius in Stockholm. As a part of the festivities, a new stamp booklet was made which is on display in the exhibition.
The Kingdoms of Elgaland-Vargaland were proclaimed in 1992 and have since then had a growing population, represented by ministers, royalty and embassies abroad.
Together with this documentation of the annexation, the four artists will also be presenting new pieces.

I juni 2007 annekterade Konungarikena Elgaland-Vargaland begravningsön Isola di San Michele. Mellan den 16 februari och den 9 mars celebreras utvidgningen av gränslandet med en utställning på Galleri Niklas Belenius. I samband med införlivandet utgavs ett nytt frimärkeshäfte som presenteras i utställningen.
Konungarikena Elgaland-Vargaland utropades 1992 och har sedan dess haft en ständigt växande population, representerad av ministrar, ämbetsmän samt ambassader i utlandet.
Tillsammans med dokumentationen av annekteringen visas nya verk av de fyra medverkande konstnärerna.
